PON fiber access network based on its number of multi-user access, low investment costs, transmission distance, etc. has become a good solution of "last mile" of wired broadband, PON network resources, including optical fiber, cable, computer room, shunt and other equipment costs, maintenance costs, etc. a lot of resources was wasted due to the imperfect of the current resource management system. From the characteristics of the business user to issue the optical distribution network (ODN) allocation and then choose the shortest path to the installation location of optical fiber passive optical network problems are actually planning to deploy often encountered. Get a reasonable solution to these problems, not only can reduce the cost of network investment, but also makes the network structure better, to the direction of better serving society. However, traditional network planning experience completed by manual not meet with the increasing broadband brings complexity requirements of the system, in addition, some of the traditional optimization algorithms such as discard algorithm, heuristic algorithm is usually added to solve such problems, but optimization effect is not ideal. The genetic algorithm uses a simple, robust and strong, parallel processing, etc. is a good question based on a combination of optimization algorithms.The main work of this paper is to focus on the convergence of light and optical access to start planning software, handmade automatic multi-passive optical network topology optimization method based on user services, on the other hand, based on genetic algorithms passive optical network core components (Optical Distribution Network) to optimize the analysis, the actual passive optical network planning and performance analysis to provide solutions deployment. The following aspects are the focus on the contents:1.together with a light-based optical access topology planning software implementation of a passive optical network;2.propose a joint multi-topology optimization methods for the automatic implementation of business requirements;3.design of a passive optical network based on genetic algorithm optimization algorithm optical distribution network;This paper describes the passive optical network optical convergence and optical access planning software design ideas, summarizes proposed project implementation commonly used network hierarchical optimization method and completed the software presented passive optical network based on genetic algorithm optical distribution network optimization algorithm, the algorithm can solve the problems of traditional algorithms into local optimal solution, finally, simulations are done in matlab.
