With the development and expansion of its application fields of wireless networks, mobile communications, data processing terminal and pervasive computing technologies, location services and location-aware computing combining advanced mobile communications and network technologies will become a most promising market prospects and development of mobile Internet value-added services. Typical examples of location-based services contain finding people and resources around, points of interest recommendation, travel navigation and conference guides, etc. From a technical perspective, location-based service’s core mission is to locate the target person or thing. Either in the open or sheltered indoor and outdoor environments, location-based services can quickly and accurately obtain the mobile terminal location and then provide customized, high-quality information and services. This system combines Baidu positioning technology that can quickly and accurately obtain the user’s location information, and to help users connect to the strongest signal wireless network that is surrounded and can be connected at the same time. Users can also see WiFi access points in the vicinity of500meter range offered by system. And Users can alse see the exact location of free WiFi access point that we provide in Baidu map. Meanwhile, the system uses the WiFi signal strength to locate the indoor wireless access points, and based on the collected information of the access points, to make certain network optimization suggestions.The system chosen on the Android platform for research and implementation, Android system has a good user interface and provides full map display and location services. Meanwhile,Android system comes with a standard database SQLite that is lightweight and high-efficiency, so that real-time data can be easily stored and recalled. This system is mainly research techniques include:WiFi automatically selected algorithm, the use of Baidu positioning and Baidu map and indoor access point location.
