Traditional business intelligence transfers existing enterprise data into knowledge by using data warehousing, OLAP and data mining technology, to help companies make informed business decisions. However, its implementation of BI capabilities often based on serial mechanisms of memory, and its scalability is poor, too. With the rise and development of cloud-computing, the parallel support of big data and self-help on-demand scalability good service make up for the deficiency of the traditional business intelligence. It gradually becomes the main trend of business intelligence.Around the combination of business intelligence and cloud-computing, this paper proposes a set of solution, aiming at the practice of multi-tenant in business intelligence cloud platform. What’s more, it verifies the validity of the application layer and the data layer in the solotion, in order to improve the scalability and usability of business intelligence cloud platform. The thesis mainly involves the following work:Firstly, it comes to be the relevant background and technology research, which include the study on the development background of business intelligence systems and cloud-computing, data warehouse, data mining, OLAP, programming model, data management, data storage, virtualization, cloud computing platform management and multi-tenant core technology and so on, in order to have a preliminary understanding of the business intelligence, cloud computing and multi-tenant.Secondly, it comes to be the design of application layer and data layer in business intelligence cloud platform multi-tenant solution, which include the research of the multi-tenant practice of cloud computing, that is the architecture, design solution and implementation principle. In the meantime, aimed at the specific design of the application layer and data layer, this paper proposes a set of multi-tenant solution in business intelligence cloud platform, combining the existing multi-tenant solution of business intelligence cloud platform.Thirdly, it comes to be the implementation of the application layer and data layer in business intelligence multi-tenant solution and the the business intelligence application verification. Around this solution, the thesis takes the specific experiment on the application layer and data layer by using the separate, time scheduling and event scheduling business intelligence application, which verifies the effectiveness of business intelligence cloud platform multi-tenant solution.
