Design And Implementation Of Peap Authentication Test System

National operators offer free wireless Internet service to individual users who are in the enterprise network coverage. Mobile phone users must complete Authentication with the operator if they want to use the free WLAN. The operator I practiced use EAP-PEAP Authentication method to complete its users Authentication. Before the AC and AP and Radius equipments being purchased*the equipments must be testing to prove that they can complete EAP-PEAP Authentication with mobile users according to the unified standard of operator. In this paper, PEAP Authentication test system is used to validate if the AC and AP and Radius equipments can complete EAP-PEAP Authentication with mobile users according to the unified standard of operator. PEAP Authentication test system can use PC to simulate mobile phone users to interact with AC and AP and Radius equipments.PEAP Authentication test system can do automated test according to the tester’s demand. Testers send test cases to system according to demand, PC can simulate the mobile phone to complete the PEAP Authentication and display the test results on PC. The whole testing process is automated, without the tester to complete any configuration. PEAP Authentication test system can make the PC analog mobile phone users because the system multiplexing the open source codes of WPA Supplicant. WPA Supplicant is the entity of completing PEAP Authentication. PEAP Authentication test system is the second development of WPA Supplicant source codes. Adding functions of starting the WPA Supplicant automatically and configuring test cases and collecting and displaying the results.Firstly, this paper introduced the basic knowledge about the user Authentication in WLAN network. Secondly, elaborated on the demands of PEAP Authentication test system. Finally explains the specific implementation of the system.The project is developed using C language in the Source Insight tool, compiled in the Linux environment.
