Design And Implementation Of Internet Of Things Platform Based On Wireless Sensor Network

With the rapid development of IOT (Internet of Things) industry, the number of accessed devices has rapidly increased. The large numbers of devices have satisfied the demand of business sytems, but on the other hand, it also brings trouble to these sytems when they want to access to the devices. The applications based on the IOT have to implement a varity of protocols to communicate whith IOT devices because of the lack of a unified access platform. This situation has greatly blocked the development of IOT industry.We need a IOT platform in order to achieve unified access for upper systems. IOT platform can shield the difference between IOT devices, and provide a unified platform for upper systems to access. The upper systems can visit the IOT devices without understanding the detail information of these devices, and it also achieve the goal that separate the underlying implementation from business logic.This paper focuses on the issue that the IOT industry need a unified platform during the development of IOT industry, use the wireless sensor network as the starting field, and it also has analyzed two typical wireless sensor networkwork based application deeply. And finally this paper figure out the goal of building up the IOT platform. Based on the research above, this paper gives the needs analysis including functional needs and performance needs. According to the needs of the system, the outline design of the IOT platform is described in detail, as well as the overall architecture, key technologies and implementation for each model. Based on the outline design of the IOT platform, the detail design is provided for each functional model. The implementation of every models in IOT platform are also described in this paper in detail. Finally, this paper described the steps and effect of building a system based on this platform. The effectiveness of IOTP has been validated by the example system.
