TD-LTE/TD-LTE-Advanced is the latest generation of broadband mobile communication technology that independently developed by China. As the subsequent evolution of TD-SCDMA technology, it can provide users with a higher rate data services and has been established as one of the4G standards by ITU.In order to test the performance of TD-LTE system to accelerate its commercialization, CMCC(China Mobile Communication Corporation) has launched TD-LTE large scale test. But only by these tests can not verify all senerios of TD-LTE system, so this paper focuses on the aspects of theory and simulation to support the TD-LTE test. In this paper, multi-dimensional simulations from multiple perspectives assess a number of performances of TD-LTE system and the evaluation results obtained with the conclusion that this study has important reference significance for TD-LTE networks construction.This paper first describes the characteristics of TD-LTE/TD-LTE-A system performance evaluation, including assessment scenes, simulation models, evaluation indicators, scrambling methods, then followed by a detailed study of the system of MIMO technology and transmission mode, it proposes two adaptive transmission mode, then followed by different multi-antenna transmission mode simulations to assess the situation under different system loads. Studies show that the use of appropriate transmission mode for different application scenarios can maximize system performance. Based on the study on multi-antenna transmission modes, this paper evaluates multiple scenarios performance of TD-LTE system, including indoor distribution scene performance, high speed scene performance. Then the paper continues to research TD-LTE’s networking solutions, including intra-frequence network, inter-frequecy network and FSFR, and does simulations to assess the performance of the three. Finally study the affect of SRS on the performance of beamforming. The paper proposes two models, including SRS coordination transmitting and SRS antenna choose sending, researches a SRS channel estimation error model, and assesses the performance of the three.Finally, this paper summarizes all the research work, and gives future research dirctions of TD-LTE large scale test simulations.
