With the maturity and promotion of network techniques, mobile phone network speed and expense is no longer an issue, and the popularization of smartphone also makes it possible for audiences to watch multi-screen videos at any time. As mobile micro video application emerges at the right moment, this form has greatly catered to the life style and watching habit of the people in the modern society who have hardware conditions. This paper investigates and researches mobile micro video application, to grasp the development venation and direction of mobile micro video application from an overall perspective, and explores how to combine mobile micro video application with its features and advantages effectively to make an efficient content positioning strategy and dissemination strategy.There have been no many studies on how to position micro video as well as its content characteristics and dissemination strategies, and the academic world’s knowledge of micro video is not sufficient either. For this reason, the author intends to first make a basic exploration of mobile micro video’s development and evolution, and then make a study to sum up mobile micro video’s features, to develop a content positioning strategy and dissemination strategy by grasping the features in a better way.Then, the author explores the content positioning strategy for mobile micro video by combining the accurate data on questionnaire survey, the data on audience’s behavioral habits, the features of micro video and the characteristics of mobile micro video application. It’s worthy of exploration about how to avoid the problems in the traditional video development skillfully by the use of content positioning strategy, position the content by the effective combination of mobile micro video application with micro video’s features, and get a basic grasp of mobile micro video viewers’preference to make a self-positioning strategy. About the exploration of communication strategy, the author, on the one hand, makes use of questionnaire survey data, and on the other hand, takes the present popular mobile micro video application for case study, to systematically unscramble the information issuing strategies of mobile micro video application, make expanding strategies by grasping the two development directions of mobile micro video according to different cases, and provide effective theoretical support for the sustainable development of mobile micro video application by summarizing and promoting strategies. To analyze the marketing strategy from the perspective of mobile micro video application is of certain significance to exploring the future profit model of mobile micro video application.This paper not only does an effective research into the attraction and efficient propagation mode of mobile micro video, but also provides references for the future development of mobile micro video application.
