Content Innovation Of Micro Video Drama Strategy Research

The micro video drama which first appeared on the long video platform,but did not develop well on it.The micro video drama,a new form of media art with both “micro” and“drama” as characteristic,did not enter the next stage of development until the explosion of the short video industry in 2017.It has attracted official attention and been supervised after two years' rapid developing.However,if the micro video drama,a form of online media,would like to be a mature model like other forms of online media,it should provide continuous high-quality content to have a steady and healthy development.Firstly,we combined several sides of academic viewpoints to define the concept of micro video drama.In order to state the characteristics of micro video drama,we reviewed the development process of this industry,divided it into two periods of exploration and preliminary development.Secondly,we analyzed the existing problems of the content from four aspects,value orientation,subject matter,narrative method,visual and aural effects.It showed there were several problems,such as biased value orientation,subject matter repeated,insufficient narrative ability,and poor audiovisual performance.Furthermore,according to the problems,we proposed innovative strategies respectively.The first is theme innovation which should focus theme orientation,positioning and selection.The second is subject matter innovation which should propose strategies from popular and disadvantaged points to reach diversified development.The third is narrative innovation which should enhance the narrative ability from both content and structure.The fourth is innovating of audio-visual performance,improving the standard both on visual aesthetics and administrative levels of auditory gradually.Finally,ensure the content innovation of micro video drama from the construction of talent team,business model and comprehensive supervision.
