With the rapid development of our life and network communication technology, we want get more convenience to life by Information Technology, rather than just browsing information from the Internet. With the network through which one can control the remote terminal, especially under certain hazardous environment that people cannot completed, we can operation and surveillance from distance with the remote control system. Development of wireless communication technology enables the installation of control terminals easier, without complicated wiring, and you can change the location easily. Develop control systems with embedded technology, which is low cost, less power consumption, more stable and more portable for remote control terminal. Therefore, the research and implementation of wireless control system based on the embedded technology has certain practical significance and application value. This paper describes the development and status of the embedded based remote control system, introduces related technology of control system, and design and implementation an embedded based remote control system. Research and migration U-Boot, embedded Linux kernel and Yaffs2to embedded system. Implement image capture module based on Video4Linux2driver and USB camera, and develop camera rotation module by PTZ. Research the JPEG Image compression algorithm, design and implement the compression/decompression module. Studied the current data encryption technology, and implement3DES data encryption module with Verilog language; Developed wireless transmission module with2.4G wireless RF module, propose a simple error control mechanism; Finally achieve the display and control interface by MFC and OpenCV library, which can display video real-time and control the rotation of camera.
