Ink-jet printing technology is a non-contact printing technology, also canoutput high quality image, so that the printing industry have a more broadmarket. With the rapid development of Chinese ink-jet printing market, largeformat color printing is also applied in many areas, ink-jet printing technologyin its high reliability, high quality, multi use shows a strong advantage.This paper is based on the ceramic tile printing as the applicationbackground, put forward a whole design scheme of ink-jet color printingsystem, build the platform of control ink-jet color printing system, realize thefunction of printing tile pattern. In the analysis of inkjet color printing system ofwork flow, nozzle selection and the composition of system, each part of thesystem is described separately from the aspects of function, parameterconfiguration and work methods.This paper selects the XAAR1001nozzle complete ceramic tile printingsystem, and designs hardware and software of nozzle control circuit by itscharacteristics, making the nozzle has a stronger ability to control ink drops.The hardware part adopts modular design, using FPGA as the core device ofthe control circuit, receives the command and data information through theSATA interface from PC and sets the appropriate parameters for the ink-jethead. Not only do the design can complete the basic requirement of steady jetby the driving of control circuit, printing out the required image, but also canrealize drop volume control, improving the printing precision of image. The partof the software makes full use of internal resources of FPGA, which realizesthe function of voltage regulation control, EEPROM read and write control andprint timing control by modules.In order to improve the printing effect so that the tile pattern color is morenatural, this paper analyzes the influence of driving voltage on the image gray.Achieving the function of changing of image gray by adjusting the driving voltage, and analyzing the influence of error generated in the process of thevoltage setting on image gray scale.Finally, the article has carried on the summary to the full text, and thepaper put forward a new direction of the system needs to be improved in thefuture. According to the actual application, the design of control circuit of thenozzle works well, meeting the basic demand of ink-jet color printing system.
