In the macro background of continuous adjustment of publishing structure,market’s deepening and the gradually prosperity of large cross-media media group,with the rapid development of Internet,and technology conditions of media reading device is continuously enriching,In order to realize the enterprise’s social value and economic value,satisfy the readers’demand for books,we need to take full advantage of predictive ability of data.Data analysis in book marketing is to convert numerous informations that can be used to guide book marketing decisions into quantifiable data,and mining the relationship between the data in order to achieve the purpose of predict the book marketing.It has a key role in improving the competitiveness of enterprise.This study begins with the background big data,discussed the significance of data analysis for enterprise’s core competitiveness,the development of the industry and the research of related theory.And summarized the research status by three types of researchers,four respects and current problems. Secondly,it discussed the characteristics of data such as controllability, comprehensiveness, complexity and high risk etc. Emphasize the great role for the industry and bookmarketing,the next is analysis of the basic types of book marketing data and way of data analysis based on classical marketing theory. Thirdly,it analyzed the competition of book marketing and macro environment to discovered the problems,such as the lack of scientific cognition,the low rate data using, data analysis report is not perfect,and the lack of data analysis decision model for book marketing with general applicability.At last, for existing problems and industry conditionsit,it proposed data analysis decision model for book marketing,including establish marketing database, data preprocessing, the tools and basic methods of data mining,and produced visual data analysis report. The main research methods was literature, case studies and qualitative research methods.
