With the rapid development of Internet technology,the engineering and related fields areusing the3D model and the data..Nowadays,the needs of3D data browsing, analysis andcollaborative design are increasing rapidly as the days passed. Therefore this paper combiningwith the research of Web3D,intends to design a web3D network prototype system that canmeet efficient rendering and have sense of reality.This paper uses the Microsoft Visio to design a network frame structure of the3Dsystem, puts forward the detailed design scheme, discusses and explains the technical routeand the main function of the system, and design the function module, the system structure,spatial data organization and the scene management,etc at the same time. This paperspecifically includes the following several aspects:1.The main functions of the systemdesigned is mainly based on the needs of the system and investigation of the present situationinvestigation,which includes the function module,the architecture,spatial dataorganization,thescenemanagement,etc.2.Several key technologies of the Network3D visual p-rototype system are investigated in details.In the database side,the management of mass datahas been put forward.Communication technology and3D data high-efficiency transmissionmethod is designed basic on Internet.In spatial information management side,SceneTreeand s-pa-ial index serialization method has been proposed.In the key technology of network-visualization engine side,real-time shadow drawing and large scale data scheduling and loadhas been st-udied in detail.3.The prototype system is developed with Jave3D.It be realizedand detailed tested through keyboard interaction,mouse interaction, data organization andmanagement, terrain and model data scheduling and shadows effects and so on.Finally,theefficiency and effects evaluation of date scheduling loading and model’s specialeffects dra-wing is finished through experimental data.It fully prove that the system framework designedin this paper is high available and scientific.The Network3D visual prototype system based on Java3D designed in this paper,By an-alyzing the experimental data and testing,it demonstrated that it has good feasibility and canwell realize the storage, management, analysis and drawing forlarge-scale data on Internet.
