With the development of national economy, the infrared imaging detection system has been applied more and more widely, thus it has a higher requirement on the performance of the detection system. Due to the limitation of data source, it is hard to do a comprehensive testing on the detection system. In order to solve this problem, people introduce the infrared simulation technology. This thesis mainly provides simulation data and model validation basis for infrared simulation.This thesis has designed a set of automatic infrared image data acquisition system. In this system, computer controls infrared thermal imager, haeundae and all kinds of weather instruments automatic monitoring multiple target scenes and collecting infrared data, providing the image data and weather data for the infrared simulation research. This thesis introduces the running process of acquisition system,the hardware composition and software flow of the infrared thermal imager control module, visible data acquisition module, meteorological data acquisition module, automatic cruise module, integral time selection module, storage module.This thesis also built a system of infrared thermal image instrument calibration. This system is able to establish the relationship between radiation intensity of each infrared focal plane array detector unit and the output image grey value. Thereby it can calculated the radiation intensity of thermal imager camera from image grey value, thus provides the model validation data for infrared simulation.A infrared picture may have many different types of targets. According the characteristic of each material to distinguish handling infrared material can greatly improve the effect of the simulation, thereby this thesis has developed a set of software for objects division. According to the gray information of the target material in the infrared image and contour information, the software can automatic divide material, then on the basis of the automatic division adding manually partitioning. For the sake of convenient operation, according to the relationship of image sequence the software can mapped the image which has been divided on the follow-up images.
