Design And Implementation Of File-Based TV Program Playout System

With the appearance of the socialized, networked and informationized media technology and the development of network-based production and broadcast technology, building a digital play-out system has become the key task for every popular TV station. In order to satisfy the requirements of development of times and the growing cultural needs of people, building the network-based HD environment of production and broadcast and developing the file-based play-out system for the whole process by using networking and digital technology, not only comply with the development direction of new technology but also push the design of the play-out system to a new level.The primary works in this thesis are presented as follows:(1)The requirements of the play-out system are analyzed in detail and the application aims are clearly defined. The overall design principles and the whole architecture of the system are confirmed according to the specific work flow;(2)The scheme of AV control subsystem and preparation subsystem are designed in detail, and they are also well achieved;(3)The functions of sharing scheduling control, lower-level machine and preparation of program are tested, and the performances on whether the system plays on time, checking TV program by lower-level machine and the migration speed of video server are also tested, which verify the validity of the system.The play-out system of TV program designed and implemented in this thesis has been put into use. According to the needs of play-out business, this system realizes the filed-based play-out in the whole process including play-out control, preparation of program and storage. This system gets rid of the traditional mode using video tapes as media and makes a progress in the program quality and production efficiency. It runs steadily and reliably, and achieves basically the expected design targets.
