With the coming era of Internet, a tremendous revolution has taken place in traditional radio and television ecosystem. There is an unavoidable tendency towards the integration of triple play on video media terminals' intelligent. HUSTRIM(Huazhong University of Science and Technology, software college, Television and Radio Information Management) system can afford guarantee for the whole network contents' management and controlling as well as important protective wall for the whole network contents' management, controlling and operation. Among the content regulation system HUSTRIM based on the combination of three networks, the image storage management subsystem HUSTRIM-PS is the most basic and core unit, it has accomplished huge amounts of image content data storage and management based on the combination of three networks, it has provided high-efficiency storage and searching supply for other subsystems at the same time.In the HUSTRIM-PS system, based on the data storage system architecture, so many functions are achieved, such as analyzing huge mounts of image data adapted to storage system's special requests, discussing storage technology and principle of huge mounts of image data which choose HDFS storage architecture of, studying relevant strategy for images' storage and management, developing a kind of image's storage and management architecture with high availability, concurrency and scalability based on Hadoop which satisfied the requests for image's storage, management and efficiency in HUSTRIM system.Just as the simulations and experiments indicated, HUSTRIM-PS has better availability in function, faster operation speed in property. However, it still need some further improvement for processing huge mounts of images.
