Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is the wireless non-contactbi-directional communication automatic identification technology use ofradio-frequency electromagnetic fields. For the major purpose ofautomatically identifying and data exchanging with the continuousexpansion of application fields, the requirements of the various parts’performance in the entire system are higher and clearer. Especially, theentire RFID system performance is determined by the RFID tagperformance, therefore the researches of RFID tag antennas are deservedspecial attention. Particularly, for those RFID tag antennas designed forexceptional application are worth deep delving. Currently, RFIDtechnology is widely used in liquor anti-counterfeiting and track-and-tracesystem. Compared to other scenarios, RFID tag antennas used for liquoranti-counterfeiting will encounter new problems that are not met before.But, so far, the designs of such RFID tag antennas have not beenresearched and designed in details.In this paper, the major work focuses on ultra-high frequency (UHF)RFID dipole tag antenna design applications used on the liquor goods. Thepaper is divided by three points:(1)The paper analyzed general parameters of the basic dipole bindingstub impedance matching circuit model, including the derivations of suchgeneral parameters’ influence on each degree of the performance of the RFID tag antenna, and establish such RFID tag model as the generaldesign model for the liquor application.(2)This paper analyzed the influence of the liquid to the tag. Designedand completed the experiments based on different situations. The properposition has been selected to decrease the influence of the performance ofthe tag.(3)The influence and reason of the shape change has been analyzed. Aproper tag has been designed based on the basic theory. The experimentshas been designed and achieved to prove the reliability and practicability.This paper firstly reviews the existing tag antenna design theory;analyzes and explains the problems of liquor application RFID tag design.Then the paper lists the technical route and the basic profile of antennadesign theory. This paper analyzes the correspondence between thegeometric parameters and read performance parameters of such generalmodel, and designs the liquor application RFID tag antenna based on thegeneral model. At last, simulation and actual experiments between tagdesigned and reference tag have been done to verify the correctness of thedesign theory.
