With the fast-growing development and update of thetelecommunication service and equipment, the previous managementmode can not adapt to the current requirements of development.Introducing the power and environment supervision system, we can notonly increase the quality of the maintenance level, manage the devicesmore efficiently, but also achieve the centralized maintenance andmanagement, reduce the operation cost of the communication operators bya great deal and bring them great profits.The power and environment supervision system monitors thereal-time condition of the devices of power and air condition in thetelecommunication room, carries through steps such as remote control,remote communication and remote measurement and processes the work such as data management. The system mainly makes use of the computernetwork, telecommunication technology in order to make real-timecondition, image-monitoring, fault-warning、dealing into realization.China Mobile Group Shanghai Corporation began to use the powerand environment supervision system from2008.The introduction of thesystem provides the advanced technology for the maintenance of the powerand air condition devices in the telecommunication room decreases thecost of human resource and increases the efficiency. All the content in thisarticle was a real example of the implementation of the system in ChinaMobile Group Shanghai Corporation. Author was the principal of theproject and took charge of the demonstration, comment and examinationof the project. Through the Author’s experience, this article gave acomprehensive view of the power and environment supervision system,chapter one to four discussed the necessity of the system, the plan andassumption of the system and the realization of the system of ChinaMobile Group Shanghai Corporation.
