In order to meet the needs of frequent travel for all the people, and to alleviatetraffic jam caused by too many private cars, the improvement and development ofpublic traffic plays an increasingly important role at people’s daily life and alsoattracts more attention of relevant government departments.At the late of1980s, China started the basic research and development ofintelligent traffic, including the optimization of road traffic management, trafficinformation collection, the pilot test system. Then it started the construction of trafficcommand and control center, at1990s. At present, most of the cities in China havebeen established basically public traffic control center or traffic command center, andcarried out the technologic research of urban intelligent traffic management. And theinternational intelligent traffic system has already achieved some more maturesolutions.During the development of intelligent traffic system, the mobile digital TVindustry has come into being, and rapidly developed. Its made all the passengers inthe bus can watch the local mobile digital television, not only enjoy the TV programsbut also get a lot of advertising information.This subject,sourcing from the project “The Design and Implement of PublicTransportation System”, starts with the analysis of the demand for public transportmonitoring, bases on the condition requirements of the program implementation,designs the technical scheme from the construction and module of public transportmonitoring system, adopts terminal monitoring, data protocol transmission,distributed platform application, data statistic and the design model ofMVC-Vision-Monitor, applies the MVC model into intelligent transport monitoringplatform, and uses the MVC model and data collection inosculating with arithmetic,receives and deals the real-time FBD data from the bus, to achieve the monitoringsystem’s functional and performance targets. It also draws out pertinent solutions forthe problems occurred during the research and implementation of this scheme.After the system design is completed, this thesis explicates the implementationof each module of the system and the process of each step of public monitoring work,then tests and evaluates the function and performance of the system.
