| As the specific application of computer supported cooperative work (CSCW), networksupported collaborative design (NSCD) can assist with the efficient interaction of files anddata between designers and professional teams by means of the concurrent engineeringthoughts. This can further contribute to improving design efficiency and product quality,reducing project cycle and cost, and realizing the management over the whole project process.Over the years, the research and development of the collaborative design platform based onthe combination of workflow with CAD technology has been one of the research focuses ofengineering survey and design field.Firstly, the article is devoted to implementing an in-depth study and analysis on theprofessional internal characteristics and interactive demands. Meanwhile, attention is paid tosumming up the overall business process of design work to present the contents such as theoverall architecture of collaborative design platform, the implementation methods of keytechnologies and database design. On the other hand, the author has researched and designedthe methods of data interaction, file reference between the upstream and downstream, and theupdate mechanism in the system. Meanwhile, the author has also researched the standardcheck about the layer, font and line of vector graphics file. During the implementation ofthese architectures and key technologies, the focus is hereby placed on how to integrateprocess tools to implement the management over the whole process of “design and validationâ€among different professions by means of graphic split and identification as well as dataprocessing techniques in CAD platform.Finally, this paper concludes with a review and summary, provides major operationinterfaces of the collaborative design system, and points out the research direction in the nextstage. |
