Enhance Investigation Of Vision Inspection Function On Advantage IC Assembly Process

As semiconductor production assembly, die bonding machine is a key importantequipment, the vision inspection system is a very important function and device for theequipment.At present, IC production are more devices, process are more diffcult, productionare more defferent, cause vision inspection function capability be reduced, and visioninspection system doesn’t be used effectively, and the accuracy of vision inspection system isnot enough. So, the vision inspection system as assistant function by plant engineer due to thefunction don’t meet quality control requirement.This action to limit the development of visioninspection system, reduce the automation of die bonding equipment, and limit to enhanceproduction efficiency and quality improvement.Base on the disadvantage of the vision inspection system on modernization manufacture,first describe the basic application of vision inspection system on die bonding equipment, anddo effeciency analysis depend on managed requirement of modernization manufacture, workout higher requirement for vision inspection function duing actual process.The focus point,the first problem is mismatch defferent production on vision inspection function, need tostudy new vision inspection method, and ensure the better accuracy of vision inspectionsystem. The second problem is improve the vision inspection system to enhance the accuracyand efficiency of bonded die inspection, and meet the standard and requirement of actual plantquality control system, and be approved and applied for actual quality control system, and toexpand the application of the vision inspection system. The third problem is base on thedevelopment of vision inspection system, build up database of the equipment productioncapability and performance efficiency, and analysize the data to provide the better basicinformation and data support for equipment management and plant managerment.There are three sets vision inspection system on die bonding machine:(1) The dispenseralignment function and dispenser quality inspection function of vision inspection system.(2)The bond die alignment function and bond die quality instpection of vision inspection system.(3) The pickup die alignment function of vision inspection system. Here select the bond diealighment function and bond die quality inspection function of vision inspection system to dostudy, and focus on strengthen the bond die quality inspection function of visioni inspectionsystem. The study methods include the Matlab programmer system, the C++programmersystem and the database statistics.
