The Design And Implementation On The Railway Transportation Bill Management System

There are a variety of railway transport bills, including passenger ticket bill,waybill, and incidental expenses bill, etc. Each kind of bill consists of many types,for example, passenger bills include electric bill, standing ticket bill and substitutingticket bill, etc. All the transport bills are formal invoices admitted by the state, andare actually negotiable securities and should be regulated forcibly and managedeffectively. However, unitl now most of the management of the bills are carried outmanually. Bill management is performed manually from handing in the requisition,checking the bill to registering and auditing the bills and discarding the bills, whichneeds huge work and long working cycle. Therefore, managing the billsscientifically and rationally with modern methods to keep a reasonable inventory aswell as to guarantee transport use and reduce the transport cost, is a problem to besolved urgently.Based on the investigation and analysis of the current bill management of therailway transport enterprises, this thesis proposes to improve the efficiency andquality of bill management, in order to meet the needs of modernization billmanagement development. The techniques of computer database and networkcommunication are used to establish a network bill management system, for therailway bureaus, branch bureaus and stations to share information, which will enablethe bill management departments to know the bill age and inventory of the instituteand its affiliated institutes, so as to provide better service for the railway transport.
