Nowadays, mobile phones have full access to the intelligence era. Smart phonesequipped with independent operating systems, allowing users to install their own softwareapplications provided by third parties, and can access a wireless network via mobilecommunications networks. Android phone have open-source system and multi-threadingmechanism to deal with complicated matters, so the mobile phone battery consumptionfaster. It’s badly to be solved that how mobile phones with Android system can save poweras much as possible because of the short life of the battery. This issue comes from Lenovo Power Projects of Lenovo Research Institute inBeijing. Lenovo Power version1.0features are mostly designed for expert users, whichhas too much complex and professional functions. It is difficult to convey the completeinformation to the user, many features are idle. Lenovo Power version2.0project isredesigned of version1.0, this project is introduced and the implementationof the interactive design procedure and method based on user mental model. By studyingthe object-oriented design and mental models, improving the mental model-basedobject-oriented design theory needs to interact with the prototype from the conversion ofthe problem, proposed psychological research and design verification based on usermental model design methodology,in order to explore the power class of applicationsdesigned from the mental model of the way.The project design process is divided into two parts, the first stage is psychologicalresearch, through the study of users, in-depth understanding of user needs to grasp theuser’s target. Target user research, classification, refinement to construct a virtualcharacters, and through certain scenarios, based on the characters goal to explore thebehavior of the user’s needs, these needs will be sorted by priority roles, refining the userneeds list, get the user’s mental model of a particular product. The second stage is designverification, which aims at converting the results of the research stage into executableprototype, design framework through a series of interactive, visual design framework willdemand a list of products into concrete form. Personally tested by actual users to verify whether the design of the product close to the user’s mental model, then amend the design, refinement scheme, detailed plan to give the final product.
