The Design And Implementation Of Itinerary Information Collection Baseed On Email System

As the develop of the Internet, it has been more and more closed to life andservice life. More and more people book train ticket, hotel, air ticket etc. travelservices on the Internet. Service providers always send notification emails to theircustomers to confirm the success of the booking information. But it is very tediousand time-comsuming for the customers to find these notification emails and access touseful information from them. Especially for traveling users who access the Internetby phone at most time, it becomes more inconvenient.In this paper, it design and develop an information system to help users organizetrip information. Users just need to forward their notification emails to a specifiedmailbox, this system will automatically parse and extract the key information fromthese emails. In addition, this system can help users to find the relative informationlike weather, trip routes and other information and add these infomation into users’itinerary. This system offer these information to user to assist them and help them tomake decisions.First. This system support three kinds of travel types, train, hotel,and flight. Byreading and analysis numbers of booking emails, this system established three typesof itinerary data model.And then, this paper describes the email transfer path when the send email andthe content change during transfer, and the difficulty for email parsing bring bythese content change. Then proposed a solution which will convert HTML to Text tosolve this difficulty. This solution will filter the disunity content out.Third. In order to access the data from email described by the data model, thispaper design a strategy to extract information from the email. The strategy usesregular expressions to match the key data points from the email, and integrate thesedata points to a full data model. And then complete the key functional module byuse this strategy.Finally. This system is designed as having highly scalable architecture, and itwill add support for the new notification email easily.
