Research Of Science And Technoloty Resources Visualization Application Based On GIS

Generally speaking, science and technology resources include: personnel quality,industrial foundation, experimental equipment, funds and information, all of which couldpromote the development of science and technology. Science and technology resources arethe material basis of science and technology innovation, reflecting science and technologydevelopment status of a specific region. Governmental departments would analyze thosedata with various comparison methods, including regional distribution, industry layout andindustry classification. They analyze the connection between various data and theirdevelopment trend through a combination of multiple comparison methods so as to graspthe technology trends on time, and make up some standards (such as science andtechnology investment standard) or policy regulations based on analysis results. In mostcases, science and technology resources and data are from governmental departments’investigation, registration and statistics. To ensure that the rules accord with the actualsituation, it needs to compare data with multiple channels, to find the internal rules of dataaccording to the analysis results. However, information mentioned above is usuallyscattered in different systems, without a unified integration and management. As a result, itis difficult to make comparison with consideration of the combination of regionaldistribution, industry layout and industry classification.Based on the fact that at present science and technology resources and data are in thedecentralized management, this paper, firstly, integrates science and technology resourcesand data, establishes a science and technology resources database and realizes unified dataschematization and management. Secondly, it finds a new and visual expression method ofscience and technology resource, combined with GIS visualization. This paper studies andrealizes the structure of visualization platform, combined with the characteristics of scienceand technology data. It designs space data model as well as the connection channel betweenspatial data and resource data. Finally, it introduces the process of GIS visual design indetail, the implementation mechanisms, and the module introduction method.
