Study Of PROFIBUS MAC Mechanism

The Fieldbus is emerging of a control system technology， which along withautomatic control theory，computer technology，digital communication technology，network technology，module integration and smart metering technology evolved，it is amethod for the controller and field instrumentation serial communication betweentechnology，it has the characteristics as two-way，intelligence，contacts and more，all-digital and all-dispersion.FCS has many advantages，which has gradually become a trendin the development of automatic control technology.PROFIBUS-DP has the high real-timeand is mainly used in communication between field devices.This topic is based on Profibus-DP MAC mechanism， by studying thecommunication mechanism between master-master and master-slave the site，designs theslave meet the communication mechanism of Profibus-DP master-slave，using the mainsimulation software the node hardware system， and verify the communicationmechanism of slave.This paper use STM32F103chip and Siemens VPC3chip to designthe interface for data communication.The design of Intelligent node software includeVPC3interrupt handler and VPC3initialization procedure.Application main subroutinewith the above， completing the design of intelligent PROFIBUS-DP slavemodular.Finally use the Profibus Master and related configuration software to test the slave.The experiment result shows that the nodes can satisfy the control system requirementof real-time. The design of node has certain promotion value.
