Smart Home system has opened up comfortable and safe, eco-friendly livingspaces. It appearance streamlines the traditional way of life, and improving theefficiency of people’s lives, helping people make schedule effectively, has become themodern residential development trends. ZigBee as a short-range wirelesscommunication technology, has a wide range of applications in the field of monitoringand control, its short range, low power consumption, low rate, low complexity,self-organization network technology advantage, meet the requirements of homenetwork communication technology in smart home system. This paper Research ofintelligent home monitoring system using GSM short messages to build remoteinteraction with clients, realization of real time monitoring of the arguments and theautomatic alarm function, and it has flexible using and low cost. For this design Imainly do the following work:(1) Given a design scheme of intelligent home monitoring system based onZigBee. This paper use Z-Stack protocol stack as software platform, and design terminalnode program coordinator program, monitoring and analysis of temperature andhumidity, light sensor monitoring, combustible gas monitoring, infrared intrusiondetection module principle, complete the design and build of each module, write thefunction driver.(2) For SMS remote monitor smart home functionality, achieve a coordinatedinterface between hardware design. Write short message monitoring software programs,and developed based on sensor nodes send SMS commands. Finally, smart homemonitoring systems are tested, the test results show that the system can meet therequirements of the stability and reliability of intelligent home.
