The Disign And Implementation Of Engineering Procurement Construction Information Management System

In this paper, the information management system we study is an important part ofproject general contracting management, in step of design planning, we compared numerouscommon research software,such as the Project, PM, SOA, P3, P6and so on, and studied alarge number of engineering general contracting design idea and realization way ofinformation management system of architectural design unit, and comprehensive analysis thewhole life cycle of projects and project elements, then make planning and design in detail toimplement the total contract management information system.Finally, the implementation of engineering procurement and construction (EPC)information system established a unified planning, unified construction, unifiedmanagement of the information window, and make the application layer, data/knowledgebase layer and platform layer as the information support system, covers project management,integrated office, business contracts and project management, and it provides a solidguarantee that makes the subsequent engineering general contracting related businesssmoothly, and effectively implement the information support and management. In this paperthe research work is listed as follows.1. The analysis and design demand of the EPC information system. According to thedemand of architecture design enterprises carry out general contracting business, andmeanwhile combined with our current operation mode. Which taches of current businessshould be covered in Information management system? And to the need of businessrequirement, we make system design to ensure comprehensive, maintainability andextensibility. 2. EPC information system implementation process. According to analyze and design.Combining the actual characteristics of the current general contracting management andrights management between departments, we can make a research from the database structure,data tables, views, stored procedures, application and so on. We make an effective andreasonable plan for Main interface, toolbars, shortcut menu and detailed managementfunction. The implementation process of the system is described in detail.3. The test verification to EPC information system. through the validation of the varioustypes of data on the system, the function of Information system database backup and restore,the actual case in the application of the system, the basic data entry of EPC informationsystem, data input and report and database backup and restore are fully tested to ensure thatthe system can be applied in practical production effectively.The goal of EPC information system in our research is to build an efficient softwareproject management system, it has important significance for the general contracting projectcost, data sharing, permissions, allocation and the reasonable decision of the project manager.
