Research And Application Of Thermostat Energy-saving Devices And Remote Control System For Communication Base Station

With the vigorous development of economic and technical, more andmore companies take advantage of project management to improvemanagement level. Now project management plays a crucial impact inmore and more areas.With the development of the communication of human society,mobile base stations、access websites and module offices increase rapidly.Specifically the quantity of the mobile base stations rises swiftly. To savemoney, most of the mobile base stations are self-service running. Energyconsuming is very huge. It is hard to continue the careless managementmode. Therefore, considering the unreasonable running time and runningsituation of air conditioning ventilation system in the base stations, it isan urgent and important issue which devises thermostat energy-savingdevices and remote control system in the communication field. Now,there are some researches and applications about thermostatenergy-saving devices and remote control system which have good effecton the electric fields and other fields such as communication operators inother provinces cities. The ZTE Corporation has ever made suchsolutions as the energy-saving system for Shanghai mobile company. Butthere are no project cases.This paper primarily analyses the energy consuming and the currentdirection for the communication base stations in Shanghai mobilecompany on the basics of the theory of project management. According tothe analysis on the running situation of air conditioning ventilationsystem in the base stations, this paper discusses design and developmentand gives the reasonable control design scheme such as the selecting of control conditions, the idea of control model and control strategy research.Based on the air-cooled power saving theory, the paper describesjudgment of indoor and outdoor environment temperature, the use ofoutdoor air instead of air conditioning for cooling, reducing the use of airconditioning time in the base stations to achieve energy saving.The project experienced one year from implementation, commissionto acceptance. It describes the project application of thermostatenergy-saving devices according to the characteristics of research projectmanagement. Based on the theory of project life cycle, the project wasefficiently managed.Finally, the paper makes some test according to testing the differenttime in the same base stations by the auto-control energy saving devices.The results have proved that the design is reasonable. After running sometime, the data in air conditioning power consumption has obvious decline.If the technology is used in shanghai and even the whole country, it willplay a scale effect on the savings of the energy costs and human resourcecosts. It will also save energy and protect the environment.
