With the constant development of computer Web technology as well asimprovement of internet environment, it is easy and common to realize distanceeducation by internet. Most well-known universities have realized daily teachingaffairs’ treatment by efficient computer internet with their distance educationinstitutes. However, people’s demand for fast study can’t be satisfied with thetraditional distance education mode since it is accumulation of learning resourceswithout effective ways to teaching interactions. While disadvantages of distanceeducation have been effectively solved with the emergence of MOOCs.By analyzing demand for MOOCs and technology feasibility, B/S frameworkwill be used in this paper with adopting many technologies like JavaEE, Flex, Red5video server as well as WebService, which forms a learning platform for onlinestudy and teaching interactions.First of all, this article analyzes the characteristics of MOOCs platform.MOOCs platform is a large-scale open network teaching platform. Thecharacteristics of MOOCs platform determines that the main problem is to design anopen teaching platform, in order to achieve simultaneous online learning of manystudents, provide the release and management of different courses, guarantee normalplay of teaching videos, determine the student answers and calculate scoresaccording to course exercises, and implement special management for relevantcourse information by course category. According to problems of the platform, thisarticle uses B/S framework to achieve simultaneous online learning of students,employs Flex and Red5video server technologies to guarantee normal play ofteaching videos in the concurrent processing environment, adopts SSH2technologyto ensure the independence of course data, and realizes the release and managementof multiple courses. For online test exercises, statistics can be made for the numberof students at different score sections, and chart components in Flex technology canbe used to achieve graphic display of statistical information. For course resources,Struts2technology and Webservic technology can be used to realize the unifiedmanagement of course resources by course category.In the paper, algorithm design as well as its realization of the module is givenwith some text descriptions to relative calling process. In the chapter of test, itexplains the deployment environment and final examination result of the wholeplatform, and it approves that MOOCs platform meets functional demands andperformance demands by analyzing test results. In the end, it concludes the results achieved in the development and it proposes improvement direction for MOOCs’sfurther development.
