Extended dynamic wedge-type is the second version of the dynamic wedge-shapedplate Varina. Compared with the first version, it greatly reduces the computer datastorage on the dynamic wedge plate, with the core technology---the table of STT.Besides, the wedge angle was increased from four to seven, and asymmetric Fangye canreach30cm×30cm maximally, which makes it possible to describe the wedge factorusing the analytic al mathematical model. Currently, the research on dynamicwedge-shaped plate is drawing more attention abroad than that in China, where theresearches are fragmented and unsystematic.This study reviews the concept of wedge-shaped plate on the wedge angle andwedge factor, principle of a wedge synthetic and mode of clinical application.Itintroduces the operating principle of Varian dynamic wedge expansion by citingexamples.By actual measurement, the study discusses the dosage characteristics on dynamicwedge factor, including the changing pattern of the state with wild and off-axissymmetrical square Fangye, and the description of mathematical catalytical mode ofwedge factor. It also discusses the impact of expansion-type dynamic wedge plate onthe dose of radiation depth and the dose around the field. It studies the calculationaccuracy of Varian Eclipse7.3AAA, PBC adaptive algorithm and Pinnacle9.0EDWconvolution algorithm, finding that the accuracy of AAA calculation algorithms is thehighest among the three algorithms,The essay focuses on the radiotherapy planning with13cases of patients who hadthe treatment of Breast conserving surgery。By comparing the radiation field using thephysical wedge at right angles and the dynamic wedge respectively and by analyzingdose distributions, we can know that using dynamic wedge wedge-shaped side panelscan reduce Ipsilateral lung dose, especially in low-dose region, Most of the V5isreduced by11.9%. It is obvious that dynamic wedge was lower than that of physicalwedge on treatment of hops, whichreduces more obviously with the wedge angle becoming bigger. According to theclinical breast cancer, dynamic wedge has obvious advantages,compared with thephysical wedge. Finally, the study tries to create the comprehensive quality assurance system ofdynamic wedge, hoping that it will become better and better in the future.
