Research On Accurate Analysis Of Internet Public Opinion: A Semantic Grammar-based Method

Internet is becoming a spreading platform for the public opinion. Any hot eventcan spread rapidly through the Internet after it happened. Some of Internet publicopinion(IPO) has a positive effect on social development while other is not conduciveto the healthy development of harmonious society. It is vital to analyze the IPO andgrasp their trends correctly and timely.A great deal of IPO text is short text. The main character of IPO text is colloquial,such as microblog, news comments, BBS titles and so on. The conventional keywordsstatistics-based methods of IPO analysis are low accuracy while lack of semanticprocessing which is necessary.Based on this background, our research is to build novel accurate analysismethod on semantic and knowledge levels. A novel semantic grammar-based methodfor accurate analysis of Internet public opinion is presented. This method has twoparts: a) an executable Internet public opinion accurate analysis Language (Eipoaal),which is a general-purpose program language that can be designed according to actualdemand; b) an Internet public opinion accurate analysis system(IPOAAS), whichprovides a running platform for Eipoaal parsing and outputs frame-based knowledgerepresentation form. Experimental results show the high performance of our method.The main research contents are as follows. First, we researched a method ofdesigning semantic grammar which establishes a mapping from unstructured IPO textto structured IPO semantic. Then we designed a executable Internet public opinionaccurate analysis language Eipoaal. Eipoaal is a universal programming languagewhich can be designed according to actual demands. Finally, we design and developan efficient multi-agent Internet public opinion accurate analysis system IPOAAS.With the guidance of ontology of IPO, IPOAAS works as a parser of SGIPOA. Theoutput of the IPOAAS is structured semantic representation of Internet public opinion.This research will provide a theoretical basis for the next generation of Internetpublic opinion monitoring and analysis system. It has important theoreticalsignificance and conspicuous practical application value.
