With the development of the mobile Internet and IP Multimedia Subsystembusiness, Large amounts of video and data IP-based services are emerging, thecommunication network has gradually changed from a voice-based SDH networks toIP-based business PTN. In order to ensure the efficient transmission of services inPTN, Synchronization technology has became one of the key technologies.The thesis introduces the research background and the development process ofclock synchronization. Synchronization is divided into frequency synchronization andclock synchronization. For high-precision time synchronization performancerequirements of communication networks, this system selects Synchronous EthernetTechnology and IEEE1588V2Synchronization Technology to realize thesynchronization of frequency and time. The thesis’ main work includes:Firstly, the thesis analyzes the demand of frequency and time synchronization inthe intelligent network management system of PTN. The demands contains clockTopology.Secondly, the thesis studies the Synchronous Ethernet Technology whichadopted in PTN and analyzes the SSM algorithm in the Ethernet. The system realizesfrequency synchronization which based on Synchronous Ethernet Technology.Thirdly, the thesis studies the time synchronization based on IEEE1588V2andanalyzes local clock synchronization algorithm. The system realizes timesynchronization based on IEEE1588V2.Fourthly, the system realizes in the form of a diagram for show the frequencyand time synchronization state in network. The system using multi-threadingtechnology to improve the efficiency of topology loading when the module is readingdata. By comparing the results improved before and after to verify the validity of theimproved method.According to the actual circumstances and requirements, three-tier C/S structureis used in this system. By using remote method call and Java code to achievesuccessful communication time synchronization and frequency synchronizationfunction in system.
