Wireless equipment test, the necessary process for wireless products coming into the market, is of great importance to guarantee equipment performance and safety of wireless. At present in Chia, the operation frequency of WLAN terminals is2.4GHz, partially in5GHZ.As many countries open up5GHz band in succession, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced to open up the5350-5350MHz band, and proposed two new test items at the end of2012. The new items need special test method, which is complex and takes a long time; we have no unified, efficient method to reply. Test cann’t be effectively developed, so, the time and rate of the new products coming into the market are seriously affected.Aiming at the issues, regarding the state new type authorization service as the starting point and according to related state criteria, we have used computer programming, database, virtual instrument and so on, designed automatic test system. The system once linked, the test software controls the instrument automatically, testing, collecting, displaying and processing data, preserves necessary test result pictures, and forms report with standard form according to the specific type of tested equipment. So, the system increases the test efficiency greatly and decreases the personal error during test. Concrete research is as follows:(1) We analyzed the new terms concretely, tried to make the equipment communicate in different IP service environment, such as FTP, file-sharing, Windows Media, and so on, tested repeatedly with proper throughput; compiled program to make the equipment power up and power off by using uninterrupted power; formed the final feasible method.(2) According to the different equipment with different test link, we designed the RF switching unit, using electromagnetic single/double pole switch, adjustable/fixed value attenuator, achieved that the program controlled link switching automatically and adjusting link with attenuation value accurately, which satisfied the different test goals.(3) In the VS2008develop environment, we used C#.net programming technology, programmed to realize that PC control signal source and signal analyzer automatically through GPEB bus, tested automatically in default value, and realized the automatic data acquisition. We designed and built the data table in the SQL server database to realize the data processing, output and storage.
