This paper developed a new software system of the visualized ultrasonic rhinitis therapeutic apparatus with advanced GUI in a new operating system on the new upgraded hardware platform to solve theproblem which the current visualized ultrasonic rhinitis therapeutic apparatus has to depend on a large and expensive endoscopic imagingdevice because there is no function of video surveillance. On Linuxoperating platform,it captures the video data of a video capture cardthat connects the endoscopic sinus using V4L2(Video For Linux2) that is provided by the operating system.And the video images are displayed by Qt. And this paper also develops the case database management module, serialcommunication module and beautifys the interface. As a result, it simplifies the operation of the doctors’, meets the need of monitoring nasal cavity in the process of operating, greatly reduce the costs of treatment and contributes to the promotion of the instrument. And it hasbeen tested that the nasal endoscopic image achieved by the system is clear, smooth and fully meets the clinical need s of ultrasonic treatment of rhinitis. Additionally, this paper researches the nasal endoscopic image registration based on image features andgray transform domain. Based on this, this paper proposes a algorithm based on a combination of characteristics and phase correlation through analyzing the the characteristics of images got from the visualization module of the system developed by this paper. Experimental results show that the algorithm can solve the endoscopic image registration problem incase of translation and rotation simultaneously. This provides a solution for optimizing the imaging system of therapeutic instrument.
