Endoscopic image mosaicing is one of the most basic and widely used way for inspection in medical and clinical practice. Endoscopic imaging plays a important role in diagnose and treatment of the focus, especially in improving the sensitivity and specificity clinical application in pathological diagnosis of tumor. However the field of view of endoscopic imaging is limited, so it is impossible to scan bigger organ in one time, it works against pathological diagnosis. The technology of endoscopic image mosiacing can solve the issue of decreased field of view in high magnification optic lens, so endoscopic image mosiacing is very meaningful in clinical diagnosis, it is vital for remote medical consultation, and it is one of the important part of smart endoscopic system.The capture of endoscopic image is different from traditional imaging, forward motion is the main motion of endoscopic image, this paper is focused on just this feature, and give a flow of endoscopic image mosiacing, work over the core technique of endoscopic image mosaicing, such as image registration, projection and image blending.This paper next introduce two registration methods and projection coordination for endoscopic image mosaicing. In term of some of the special motion of endoscopic image, this paper also gives a method to choose the best mosaic seam. Finally, this paper focuses on pipe projection model.When mosaicing the images, this paper set the curve center to position the axis of the pipe, and also optimize the pipe projection model. First the strip choosing method has been improved, then a self-adaptive inverse pipe bi-projection is given for problem solving in case that there was no overlap between the adjecent frames. The panoramic image will not reduce the image resolution and will not loose their original details.
