| Since network coding was proposed in2000, as the continuative research of manydomestic and foreign scholars, the network coding techniques has proved that it canimprove network throughput, network robustness, and the efciency of network re-source allocation, over those achievable by pure routing. Multirate multicasting hascapability to adapt to diferent user requirements and time-varying network condi-tions of diferent receivers, it not only can send data at diferent rates to receivers ofdiferent network capacities, but also an efcient network transmission methodologyfor deliver a data to multiple heterogeneous clients. This paper considers the op-timization problem of multi-service system based on network coding and multiratemulticast.Firstly, introduce the current research situation of network coding and multiratemulticast from foreign and domestic researchers, and give the detail describes aboutthe network coding related definition. On that basis, the paper using network codinginto multirate multicasting network, and mainly consider the multi-service systemoptimization problem based on network coding and scalable multirate multicast.Thirdly, the plan jointly considers such optimized constraints conditions as inter-layer network coding base routing, multi-path video streaming, and network flowcontrol to maximize a concave network utility function defined over heterogeneousreceivers, and then build a mathematic optimization model. Afterward, the schemeusing a series of nonlinear optimization methods such as decomposition methodsand subgradient method development a decentralized algorithm with clear physicalmeaning, and then iterative solve the performance optimization problem to achieverate control and price update mechanism. Lastly, the paper also proved the stabilityand convergence of the algorithm by using Lyapunov theories.Simulation results show that, compared with intra-layer network coding, theproposed algorithm achieves higher throughput based on inter-layer network codingand can verify its validity. |
