| Beidou satellite navigation system is a global satellite navigation system that Chinadevelops by itself. Currently, it has successfully achieved regional coverage. Nowadays,the whole society needs its more support in all areas. All areas of society have more urgentneeds to Beidou.This paper aims to design a small positioning system based on Beidou that is practical,easy to operate and very cost-effective. It can be able to receive signals from the Beidousatellite, and process the signals and then displays information such as the location on theLCD screen. It enables loopback location information via GPRS modules. The format oflocation information is NMEA0183protocol. The procedure of processing signals is toextract longitude, latitude and time information. The display module will display theformatted data on LCD. GPRS function module allows users to get location informationvia mobile phones. Under the circumstances that Beidou doesn’t open short messageservice to the public, can use GPRS module to achieve loopback information.Implementation of the system needs to consider the hardware and software design.Hardware provides a carrier for software and hardware design is directly related to thequality of the system. Hardware design begins from the most basic circuit schematic design,finally made into a PCB board. The part of software design mainly includes receivinginformation, processing information, and displaying information on LCD and GPRScommunications module. Finally, the entire software is packaged and transplanted to thetarget board.After the design is completed, hardware and software has been tested. The systemsuccessfully achieve the function. It indicates that the system is reliable and has goodperformance. |
