PDM (ProductDataManagement) is a product data management that used tomanage all product-related information (including parts information, configuration,documentation,CAD files,structure,permissions information,etc.) and all product-relatedprocess technologies, it also means that used to a computer to solve practical problemsin production.Departing from the market demand,3-solid models and drawings document isclassified by integrated approach in this project. through the overall system design, andit also have making the programming under the Visual C++6.0,even make a dataplatform that all include to built solid models and drawings documentation database inthe Microsoft SQL Server2005, thus completing the mechanical product managementsystem software.In order to achieve to efficient and fast management that many3-soildmodels and drawings document of the mechanical products. Establish mechanicalproduct management system will significantly increase the rate of3-solid models anddrawings document to query.It also can accessible to improve the model and drawingfiles privacy and security. Therefore, the study of this subject will change the previousmanagement model that obsoleted data save confusion, labor-intensive, low efficiencyof the situation, the enterprise can create significant economic and social benefits, so itwill have important theoretical significance and practical value.This paper is divided into5parts, the first chapter of introduction; the secondchapter introduces the overall design for the management system of the mechanicalproduct; the third chapter introduces the structure of the data and the algorithms of thedata in this mechanicl management system;the fouth chapter introduces that solve thekey of this mechanical management system; the fifth Chapter introduces thismanagement system of the mechanical product.
