With the rapid development of modern technology, computer technology hasimproved dramatically.Combining modern management needs, communicationmechanics and information skills of different kinds have been applied in projectmanagement from all walks of life. Project management information system has thereforeexperienced increasing growth and spread.Currently,most government departments andenterprises have built their own project management information system(PMIS),supervising and controlling operational situations in different phrases of theproject.And this will greatly improve information level,efficiency and quality of projectmanagement.Project management information system is Computer-aided tool for supervisingprojects.It offers great assistance to achieve the goal by planning,examining,investing,controlling schedule and quality dynamically of project management.This system is based on UML modeling skill,using J2EE platform as foundation andOracle as support platform.It utilize Oracle temp table to optimize data inquiryefficiency,making sure concurrency and independence of multiple users and use Oracleview to enhance data security and independence of logical data.Rich searchs andstatistical modules can provide accurate data to users. By analysing and real-timecontrolling project from different angles,the system can offer reasonable services tosystem administrators.This system realize short message receive-and-send function by combining shortmessage platform interfaces.It can send project-related messages to project-related peopleand individuals involved in the project can inquery about information related to the projectby sending short messages,improving flexibility and efficiency of project management.
