Farmers in Hotan region which is located in the southern tip of theXinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region are also follow the pace with the timeushered in the spring of new countryside construction. The effects of media such asinformation transmission, policy orientation and training and education of theirpopulations, should be fully functioned and shoulder the historic responsibility ofreflecting the voice of farmer’s truthfully, conveying the preferential policies of theCommunist Party of China(CPC), spreading the scientific and cultural knowledge andpromoting the peasants’ ideological change.“Hotan Daily” is an official newspaper of the Hotan prefectural party committeeof Xinjiang, CPC, which is the only open press in Hotan region competent authorizedand sponsored by Hotan prefectural party committee as well as animportant position for public opinion propaganda in the promotion of reform andopening-up policy, social stability and healthy development of economics in Hotanregion.
