Temperature plays an important role in the solid-state fermentation, This paper is basedon the project--The pits temperature measurement system based on Internet of Things.workers in liquor factories adjust the ratio of fermented grains based on personal experience,combined with pits heating rate, the toppest temperature and other parameters to optimize thenext round of fermentation, and improve the quality and yield of liquor. For the pits’ positionare relative fixed in fermentation workshop and data transfer volume of nodes is smaller, theenergy efficient strategies in this paper mainly focus on energy efficient routing algorithms ofthe wireless sensor network, and on this basis, designs a kind of low-power pits temperaturesystem. Contents include:Firstly, this paper proposes an improved LEACH(Low energy adaptive clusteringhierarchy) algorithm based on ant colony optimization. This section describes several typicalrouting protocols of WSN, the ant colony algorithm is applied to optimize and improve theshortcomings of LEACH. The energy factor is introduced in the cluster head node selectionphase in order to avoid the over-consumption problem of individual cluster head in LEACH;ant algorithm is used to find the best path in clustering stage, which solves the problemsbrought by distant nodes communicating directly with the Sink node, such as excessiveenergy consumption, thus reducing energy consumption of the whole network nodes.Secondly, this paper proposes a non-uniform clustering algorithm based on time delaymechanism. To solve the problem of uneven energy consumption in cluster head. Thisalgorithm make the nodes with more energy have a shorter waiting time, that can be elected asthe cluster head preferential when the timer expires, and the calculation method of the clusterhead competition radius makes sure its number stable and positions distributed evenly. In theclustering process, nodes select cluster heads based on the minimum consumption function,they consider the energy of the cluster head, distance between a cluster member and thecluster head, angle of the cluster head and Sink node and other factors to balance energyconsumption of cluster heads, this algorithm achieve the aim of balancing the whole networkenergy and extending the life cycle of nodes.Thirdly, this paper designs pits temperature measurement system with low-power. anon-uniform clustering algorithm based on time delay will be used in the system that canmonitor temperature changes. Child nodes use STM8L as its microprocessor, Si4463as thewireless communication module, PT100as the temperature sensor, and using the Least SquareMethod to piecewise linear fit the first-order relationship between PT100resistance andtemperature, and communicating with Sink nodes though wireless way. PC with LabVIEWdevelops user-friendly interface, the underlying serial programs obtain data from Sink nodesby RS485.The paper ensures he reliability of the system while focusing on energy-savingdesigning for each part of the system.
