The Research On Heterogeneous Database Integration Technology For Educational Management Field

Promotion of information technology of universities teaching management is one of the effective ways to improve the level of teaching management. At present, many colleges and universities develop the database management information systems based on different platforms, and these information systems include a large number of heterogeneous database system. How to deal with the data and realize the effective sharing of heterogeneous database system, has become the urgent problem of educational management in Colleges and universities.In view of the above problems, the thesis firstly introduces the related theory of heterogeneous database integration and several popular solutions, and analysis their advantages and disadvantages, discuss several technical problems of the heterogeneous database integration. Then introduce the metadata, XML technology, relational schema, schema mapping between relational schema and XML schema. Finally introduce schema integration.In order to realize promotion of information among multiple heterogeneous existing educational management, the thesis proposes a kind of heterogeneous database integration technique based on layered architecture of user layer, management layer and data layer, and realize the integration of heterogeneous database based on the use of middleware technology, metadata, XML technology, realize program monitoring by using JAVAEE technology.In the thesis, realize the Guangxi Arts Institute query system of student information based on the technical scheme of heterogeneous database integration. Analysis of the program modules:user layer, management layer and data layer, wherein the management module mainly consists of a query management module, the wrapper module, metadata module, the processor module. At the same time, expounds the functions and realization process of management module.In the thesis, through the analysis of the Guangxi Arts Institute’s educational management field, combined with the characteristics of the educational management based on many heterogeneous databases, establish a unified logic view, provides a unified view of data and query interface for the user through metadata, XML technology, middleware technology, shield the difference location information of heterogeneous data sources, provide a unified interface for multiple heterogeneous data sources. Finally, through the comparative analysis of the experimental data, show that the proposed heterogeneous database integration technology has good stability, reliability and fast query speed, to better meet the actual demand.
