In recent years, with the development of digital information technology andnetwork communication technology, data communication center’s constructions andrenovations are in full swing along with the development of information technology.However, data communication center is a huge energy system, construction andrenovation of data communication center is also accompanied by a lot of energy andsecurity issues, especially in this period that industrial electricity is more and moreexpensive, all operators are trying their best to make energy-saving to cut down datacommunication center’s operating costs.Data communication center generally accompanied by expansion and renovationin its construction process, so operators’ doubt about the airflow of datacommunication room is reasonable. Operators want to detect and eliminate thepossible risks, so they need a clearer grasp of the operation of the center. For thispurpose, we need to make a configuration about the air conditioning and itsapplication to predominate the temperature field distribution in data communicationcenter. This paper is a case study based on the specific engineering problems,itcalculated the room’s cooling load,simulated data communication center’stemperature field distribution, designed the experiment,measured the temperatureand velocity,designed optimized methods and a series of other work.Firstly, this paper calculated the center’s cooling load to assess the adequacyabout the supply of cold air and the air distribution scheme in the center. In order tocalculate the total cooling load of the data communication center,this paper measuredall column head cabinet’s voltage in every rows to calculated the equipment heatand used eQUEST software to calculate the building envelopd structure load.Then this paper simulated the temperature field and distribution of airflow insidethe center. This paper established mathematical model of the data communicationcenter. This paper use6SigmaRoom to establish model and simulate temperature and airflow distribution inside the room, and then get hot spots and overload cabinets.Itanalyzed the cause of the overload cabinets.In order to verify the correctness of the simulation results, this paper measuredthe outlet temperature velocity of the air conditioning and designed a program tomeasure the center’s temperature.A temperature measurement car will be designed tomeasure the center’s temperature in the respect of the mechanical design, hardwaredesign and software design, so that temperature measurement car could detect thecenter’s temperature by traveling in the room to verify the accuracy of the simulationresults. And then this paper optimized the position of the rows,and a bettertemperature distribution in the data communication center was found by comparisonbetween before and after the optimization.At last it achieved the purpose of makingthe room temperature distribution more reasonable.At last, this paper summarized the work and deficiency.
