The Research And Application Of Jiangsu Telecom On IMS Network Deployment

IMS is a subsystem supporting IP multimedia bussiness put forward by3GPP. It isbased on IP multimedia business and core network control of conversation. It utilizesthe SIP protocal system, enabling functions of separation between call and control aswell as separation between business and bearing capacity. These features has made IMSnetwork structure more open and fexible. The mass deployment of IMS networkpossesses certain risks due to the conplexity of the telecommunication network structureof China and variaty of business. Therefore this thesis emphasizes the research on thedeployment and application of IMS network.The first part of the thesis the current situation and existing problems of jiangsutelecom telephone network,mobile telephone network, Bearing network and Businessnetwork are analyzed. And then the IMS network deployment scheme is discussed,mainly including the existing network development localization, the scheme of networkorganization structure, Network unit design, routing and Numbers plan andsynchronization scheme.Lastly it introduces on network related supporting systems ofIMS such as bearing, network management and billing system. The sheme proposed hasbeen implemented step by step in the latter part of the project construction process,which eventually proved that it is practical and feasible to deploy IMS network injiangsu telecom.
