Therefore, developed a new generation of software radio communication radio station function, on the army digital construction, solve the multi-arm coordinated operations communication is very important.This article is in this background research and discussion. The author has used the SDR technology, creative design of a RF digital technology program, and completed the prototype development. This paper summarizes the development of the related work, including the following:1) On the history and development status are introduced, proposed an advanced, practical software radio system and radio frequency digital.2) On the radio in digital relates the basic theory and basic data models are discussed, which is the study of RF digital theory basis.3) On the radio digital basic structure and key technologies are discussed, the RF front end processor, high speed A/D-D/A converter, general and special purpose digital signal processor circuit hardware design.4) For a programmable logic device based on FPGA RF digital software design, the common platform to achieve, down conversion function, and discusses the related technical index undertook theoretical analysis and software simulation, RF digital radio development to provide a solid theoretical basis. The simulation results in the prototype is well documented, has achieved the design requirements. As a result of this paper is on the HF are studied, for VHF and higher frequency remains to further study and exploration, in order to realize broadband segment RF digital, to achieve the ideal software radio.
