Mobile Ad Hoc Network is a kind of temporary autonomy system, which can be quickly and simply constituted without fixed basic facilities. It suits applications in special cases such as military action, emergency, disaster salvage and so on. High frequency (i.e. HF) communication has strong survivability, so that mobile Ad Hoc network with HF communication as its physical channel is becoming an important method for medium and long distance communications in military affairs.Combination of HF communication and self-organization network technology yields HF self-organization network, whose channel is HF radio channel. The radio channel of HF communication has some disadvantages such as instable quality, narrow channel bandwidth as well as dynamic variation of network topology caused by node movement, access and exit in tactical applications.Firstly, after presenting the architecture of a mobile Ad Hoc network, the thesis pays a great attention to the grouping structure and grouping algorithm of mobile Ad-Hoc networks, and gives the criterion of using multiple sub-network self-organization grouping algorithm combined with HF communication functions, the methods of transmitting and testing topological information, criterion of self-adaptive routing and the protocol of exploring network route.Then the thesis introduces the realization of link access protocol of HF self-organization network on physical layer and describes3G-ALE multichannel multi-access protocol in detail. In addition, it analyzes the generating method of outburst waveform BWO of3G-ALE and describes the realization of operating mechanism and protocol process of3G-ALE.Finally, it describes in detail, the engineering design of an HF self-organization network communication system according to the requirements of the related project. It gives the technical requirements of the HF communication system, and completes the technical lectotype as well as design of the HF communication system and radio network controller in engineering in accordance with the technical requirements.Testing and experimental results show that the self-organization network based on3G-ALE technology is feasible in engineering, and its performance can satisfy the users’requirements in practical applications.
