The Scheme Design And Implementation Of High-definition Video Conferencing Systems

In one company, a running standard-definition video conferencing system, withMCU and terminal equipment based on H.320, was founded in2000. Since the systemwas put into operation, it has undertaken most conferences of the company. It not onlysaves travel-expenses for the company, but also plays an important role in theproduction and operation with its convenient and timeliness. With the continuousdevelopment of the company’s business，the reliability,video effects, functions of videoconferencing systems are being proposed increasing demands.This paper firstly introduces the development, definition, key technology, andinfluences of high-definition video conferencing system. Secondly, based on introducedvarious high-definition video interface, four universal schemes of video systemconnection are discussed and analyzed. In order to ensure the reliability ofhigh-definition video conferencing system, the design based on the main and backuphigh-definition video system, as well as dual-channel and dual-route. by analyzing thestrengths and weaknesses of different networking solutions and channel organization’sprograms, considering the deficiencies of the existing standard-definition videoconferencing systems and the research background to the current situation of thecompany, it has put forward the video system connection schemes, networking schemesand channel organization schemes, which are suitable for the actual situation of thecompany. Finally, build a simulated environment for testing to verify the feasibility andrationality of the proposed program. Test results show that this proposal design isreasonable, the selection of equipment in full compliance with the requirements,thesystem is stable and the image is clear and smooth.The test in this paper, not onlyprovides the design basis for the company, but also provides valuable referencerecommendations for engineering and technical personnel who engaged in the design ofhigh-definition video conferencing system solutions.In recent years，with the advancement of video conference technology and theprice fall of video device, the video conferencing systems are upgrading tohigh-definition direction in the markets. Meanwhile， more higher-definition,convergence, and alliance will be the development trend of video conferencing systemin the future. This is also the direction we need to research.
