The21st century is the era of information industry, the trend of global electronicinformation unstoppable, extensive use of computers to promote the greatdevelopment of the country’s economic and social life. At the same time, China’svigorous development of higher education, the enrollment rate generally improvedefficiency and normative for student management put forward higher requirements,college student information management work should become a new model of studentwork management and breakthrough.In this paper, the construction of the system uses ASP as system developmenttechnology, and database management system takes use of the Access. On the base ofthe analysis of the business process of student information management, the systemanalyzes the needs for system functions and designs focusing on the role of users. Theusers are classified into students, teachers, academic teachers and administrators.Therefore, the system is also can be divided into student module, the instructormodules, educational teacher module and administrator module. Student moduleconsists of student registration, student management, student loans, work-studyprogram, organizing information, employment management, graduate management,and information maintenance. The instructor module includes releasing courseinformation, uploading the examination paper, inputting school grades andinformation maintenance. Educational teacher module includes releasing academicwork information, curriculum management, student information management, classmanagement and information maintenance. The instructor module includes teachers’information maintenance, authorization management, system maintenance andinformation maintenance. The thesis analyzes the demands for software, systemfunctions, the design of database construction, the realization of the students’ workingsystem and the testing after system development. In view of MVC fame andimplementation of ASP.net, student information management system could enhancethe speed of process in the work of students’ information management effectively, andreduce the human factors leading to negative effects on customs declaration.Meanwhile, it improves the transparency of student aid work, and provides theinformation pushing function for students comprehensively on the base of strongcapability of dealing process and fulfils information transmission between teachers and students effectively.After the system development work, carried out a trial run in the school, whichgreatly facilitates the traditional mode of student work, simplifying the officeprocesses a certain sense, to improve the work efficiency. Meanwhile, the actualoperation of the system running for the Times put forward the idea, lay thefoundation for future research.
