Doctoral candidate application system can reduce the labor intensity of staff,improve the work efficiency, and achieve standardization, scientific and modernizemanagement of the entire doctoral candidate application procedure. The rapiddevelopment of the information technology provides a new way for the doctoralcandidate online application. Traditional doctoral candidate application requires a lotof personnel and funding, and there is the problem of duplication between differentrecruitment agencies. While the new SaaS model is mainly operated by hiring the useright, which provides realistic conditions for sharing educational resources. Users donot need to invest money and personnel to buy equipment to maintain the system, justpay a lower fee to enjoy the software and maintenance services. On the basis ofanalyzing traditional doctoral candidate application system, business processmodeling is designed again this paper, and then design and implement a doctoralcandidate application system based on SaaS architecture.The paper aims to design and implement the doctoral candidate onlineapplication system. The main research is as follows: First, Introduces relatedtechnologies and algorithms of the system. Second, the paper analyses detail demandanalysis and feasibility analysis of the doctoral candidate online application system,define functional requirements and non-functional requirements of the system. Third,the paper carries on the system design in detail on the basis of demand analysis,include system architecture design, network topology design, function module design,the principal business process design and database design. Fourth, using.NETtechnology, the IIS server and SqlSever2008database, the system is implemented andtested. Fuzzy query trie tree algorithm is applied, its fuzzy query function has goodresults.The paper implements a doctoral candidate application system, which arrives tothe standard of design objectives after being tested in performance and is used by thegraduate school of ZZU. It can improve repeat construction for educational resources and achieve the sharing and management of educational resources and has greatpractical significance.
