Although it has made great achievements on curriculum construction since the initiation of the Excellent Course Project, the situation of promotion and sharing application remains far from optimistic. The co-construction and share of excellent course resources can not only enrich and optimize curriculum resources, but alsopromote the sharing application of them. It is an effective way to push the sustainable development of the Excellent Course Project. Based on the national-level subject“Mode research on digital resource co-construction and share”, this study illustrates comprehensive and systematic analysis on co-construction and share of excellent courses.First of all, through the questionnaire survey, interview and document investigation, the construction and current application situation of excellent coursesin mainland China have been fully comprehended and the existing problems in theExcellent Course Project have been analyzed. Furthermore, a method of co-construction and share of curriculum resources has been put forward so as to enrich, optimize and promote the sharing application of curriculum resources. Secondly, under the guidance of the open education ideal and relevant theory of co-construction and share, a theoretic framework of the co-construction and share system of excellent course resources has been constructed. Moreover, systematic research and analysis of organization model, development of the common service platform, protecting mechanism and effect estimation of co-construction and share of the excellent course resources have been made. Finally, with the national-level excellent course“History of Industrial Design”as a platform, the interscholastic and industry-university resource co-construction pushed forward by the Guiding Committee for Industrial Design teaching of the Ministry of Education and the student participation curriculum resource construction mode have been explored.The theoretic framework of the excellent course resource co-construction and share system constructed in this article and the ongoing practice of the curriculum resource co-construction and share have broadened and enriched the research fieldsand perspectives of the Excellent Course Project. The open and share of high quality education resources have also been promoted. The study can provide a reference tothe co-construction and share of the excellent course resources in the institutions of higher education in China.
